Police in London have appealed to witnesses not to come forward, after a man died during the G20 Protests on April Fools Day.

It is believed that Ian Tomlinson (47) suffered a fatal heart attack immediately after being beaten to the ground by a gang of men armed with batons.

The assailants, who ran amok throughout the streets of London, causing terror and carnage for several hours were described as “wearing dark navy uniforms” and are said to be armed with batons. Members of the public are advised not to approach anybody who meets this description.
