UK Tabloid in Insensitivity Shocker

Max Mosley – President of the International Automobile Federation, former barrister, former F1 team owner, former racing driver and – right now – grieving father. Or as the Daily Star likes to call him, “Kinky Race Ace”.

To merely describe the UK Daily Star (not to be confused with that intellectual goliath, the Irish Star) as ‘low-brow’ would be an insult to imbeciles everywhere. In short, it makes the standard of writing in The Sun look like War and Peace. Owned by a porn baron called Richard Desmond, widely regarded in British media circles as a complete cretin, it’s little more than a wank-rag, bought by those who find other red-top wank-rags just a bit too clever and liberal for their liking.

Maybe when its owner dies (soon, with any luck), the Daily Star will have on its front page the equally respectful and well-deserved headline: “Dirty Desmond Dead”.
